Enjoy a creative display of National Fruit Collection cherries; all designed by our fantastic tour guides. At the Cherry Festival we hope for you to be able to view an array of different Cherries (seasons permitting).
Buy from the Collection
As fresh as they are going to get... straight from the orchards to you! There will be a selection of seasonal fruits to buy in the collections fruit shop, choose from the best selection of cherry varieties you will ever see in one place!
FREE Advice
Advice and knowledge will be available over the whole weekend in our ‘Meet the Experts’ area, so come with questions and you will be sure to find answers! There will also be a good selection of named cherries for you to look at.
Buy Fruit Trees
Buy fruit trees and other plants from the grow garden centre, open all weekend.
Craft and Producers Village
Browse the craft and produce village for some unique gifts including scarves, bags, accessories, ladies wear, cobnuts, preserves, fudge and more!
Local Food & Drink
Enjoy a delicious range of lunch choices at this year's cherry festival, including Burgers, Ice Cream, Coffee, Fish, Indian and more!
Cherry Pip Spitting!
Attempt to beat the cherry stone spitting world record of 28.5m in our SPITACULAR competition! The record is held by Brian Krause of the USA. Cherry stone spitting competitions are held at cherry festivals all around the world with national championships in America, New Zealand and Australia!

Summer Bar...
Tiddly Pomme will be running the summer bar and tempting you with all sorts of delicious local flavours for your to sup in the sunshine including: Woolly Pig Medium & Dry Ciders, Brogdale Cherry Cider, Double Vision Strawberry Cider,  Elderflower Perry, Double Vision Perry and a selection of local ales, pilsners & apple and pear juices!
Pie Eating Competitions
Enter on the day, eat as much as you can (no hands of course) and become the cherry pie eating champion of 2014! Competition times will be announced on the day!
FREE Craft Workshop
Get creative and crafty with cherry themed activities for the whole family to make and take home, all run by fantastic children’s workers 'Handcrafted Events',

Make sure your little festival goers don't miss out on the chance to become their favourite animal at the free face painting tent!
Miniature Train Rides
(small charge per person) - The Faversham Miniature Railway will be running all weekend and the 15 minute ride around our beautiful orchards is something not to be missed!

FREE Orchard Tours
Guided walking and tractor trailer tours of the beautiful orchards will be running all weekend.
FREE Cooking Demonstrations
Corinne (Corrine's Creative Kitchen) will be talking about the use of spices and cherries in sweet and savoury dishes using Indian and Thai/Chinese influences and flavours. She will be cooking dishes such as Paneer with a Cherry Chutney, spring rolls with a cherry dipping sauce and maybe Ginger Chicken with a cherry sauce.
